Monitoring Dashboard

Important

The Monitoring Dashboard is not released as a medical device and must therefore not be used to monitor the health of a person or to take any decisions that can affect the health of a person.

The Monitoring Dashboard has its own application icon in the left-hand menu bar as displayed below:

Types of tiles

Depending on the configuration of the Monitoring Dashboard, you will find one of the following tile types on it:

a) A tile per Device
b) A grouped tile per Gateway displaying all assigned Devices (see Assign a source device ot a gateway for more information)
c) A grouped tile per Participant displaying all assigned Devices (please contact Leitwert support for early access)

Information displayed on tiles

All types of tiles essentially give you the following information:

monitoring_tile
Monitoring Tile - see numbered list below for instructions

  1. PID stands for "Participant ID", which you can use to attribute tiles to a participant wearing the device. For Device tiles (type a) and Gateway tiles (type b) tiles, this can be set manually using the black pen icon on the right side (see picture above). For Participant tiles (type c), the PID is set automatically based on the current assignment.
  2. The name of the Device. For Device tiles (type a), this is located at the top of the tile. For grouped tiles (type b and c) this is located within the section of a single Device, which is indicated by a rectangle as displayed above.
  3. The last available measurement of a parameter from the Device. Which parameters to display and how to name them is configurable. By hovering over the displayed value with your mouse, the exact timestamp of the measurement is displayed.
  4. Same as 3. above. If the last available data from the device did not contain a valid measurement for this parameter, the tile displays "N/A" as in "not available".
  5. Most recent timestamp when data has been received by the Device Hub from this Device.
  6. The last available battery status of the Device. A lightning bolt next to the battery indicates that the Device is currently being charged. By hovering over the battery symbol with your mouse, you get additional information about the charging status including the timestamp of this information.
  7. For grouped tiles (type b and c) there are three dots inside each Device section. Clicking these three dots leads you to the Data Explorer for this device (see Visualize device data).
  8. For Device tiles (type a) the three dots in the lower right corner will bring you to the Device's Data Explorer (see Visualize device data). For grouped tiles (type b and c) as pictured above, these three dots bring you either to the Gateway or Participant detail view, respectively.

Tile color

The color of the tiles changes based on configurable thresholds to visually alert the user about measurement data or device behavior that is outside targeted parameters. The following colors are available:

  • Green = everything is within upper and lower thresholds
  • Yellow = at least one parameter is outside "warning" thresholds and none are outside "alert" thresholds
  • Red = at least one parameter is outside "alert" thresholds

If grouped tiles with multiple Devices per tile are used (see picture below), then each Device section has its own color based on individually configured thresholds. The outside tile takes over the color of the highest criticality from all contained Device sections, e.g. if the section for one Device becomes red, the outside tile will also become red.

The following data types can be used as thresholds to trigger color changes:

  • Device measurement data (e.g. parameter should be above x and below y)
  • Timestamp of last available measurement from a device (e.g. last available measurement should be within x minutes)
